Tella Press is a stationery brand and design studio based in Brooklyn, NY. We specialize in bright, eye-catching greeting cards, birth announcements, wedding invitations and personal stationery. Our cards feature my own designs, funky hand-drawn lettering and illustrations. 

From childhood I carried a notebook back and forth between Spain and my summers in Italy, filling it with stories and doodles in bright sunny colors. I enjoyed observing the world around me and creating keepsake collages, watercolor paintings and collecting delicate stationary and stamps. After studying design in New York I found myself happily making pretty things, but spending endless hours behind a computer screen, and decided it was time to return to making things by hand.  One day I received a letterpress birthday card and remembered how much I loved printmaking in college. I started to silkscreen again and dedicated myself to learning the art of letterpress printing from scratch, taking classes in the evenings after long hours in the office. Tella Press was born when my doodles escaped my notebooks and made it to the printing press.

All our cards are printed by hand with love and attention to detail using either a Vandercook Universal Press, a C&P Pilot Press or my own Showcard Press. We are committed to creating eco-friendly paper goods and print on 100% tree-free cotton papers.
